An Emergency Support Trailer (EST) containing communications, medical and support equipment is stationed at the Helderberg Fire Station in the Strand for hasty deployment. 

Stored in this Trailer we have a large cottage tent, a gazebo, table and allied equipment to enable us to establish a temporary field base. A selection of radio antennas and masts enable us to ideally configure the radio communications to suite the current operation. A gas stove and associated stores of foodstuffs are available to look after the welfare of team members as well as 'rescued' persons!

Also included is a selection of medical equipment and supplies. Some of this is for the use of suitably qualified personnel.

We recently acquired a new EST which has been custom designed to our unique specifications:
